The City Planners are considering rezoning the Southern Alewife area to encourage conversion from light industrial uses to high-density, high-activity uses. The "Concord-Alewife" area, which includes the Alewife T station, extends from Fresh Pond to Alewife Brook Reservation, from Fresh Pond Mall to the Belmont border
